Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their specific needs and IEP goals.
Conduct assessments to determine students' strengths and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, self-care, and other areas of concern.
Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing a variety of activities and exercises to promote students' independence and functional abilities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provide guidance and support to families, offering strategies to promote skill development at home.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Valid Georgia license as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with elementary school students is preferred.
Knowledge of assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic techniques for occupational therapy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educational team members.
Passion for supporting children's growth and development.
